Create your first quiz
What a Quiz is (and what it isn't)
In ZeQuiz, a quiz is the unit of content: a set of questions grouped under a title, such as "80s Music" or "General Knowledge." It is not a game, nor is it a game session: it is your question box that you then assemble into a game.
3 Steps (2-3 min)
1. Choose your theme and target audience.
A well-calibrated quiz depends on who is playing: a party with friends, a wedding, a birthday, team building, a social media contest, or a school quiz. The tone, difficulty, and type of questions flow directly from this.
Decide which type of quiz you want to create: Q&A, Categories, or Drawing.
2. Provide your content.
You have several options, which can be combined:
- Pick from the quiz library provided by the ZeQuiz team.
- Assemble your quiz using questions from several existing quizzes.
- Create your own questions: text, image, music, multiple choice, open answer, reordering, "guess the next part," Tempo Quiz, etc.
- Search for questions in the question libraries using a ChatGPT-style prompt. (Note: No questions are generated by AI! — find this in the "Generate Questions" section of the quiz library).
Tip: For musical questions, you can import a YouTube playlist in one click (the playlist must not be private during import). We recommend YouTube Premium to avoid ads during the game.
Tip 2: You can generate questions for "Drawing" type quizzes. Simply enter a theme and we will generate 10 questions for you!
3. Give it a title and save.
Your quiz is now ready to be used. You can now add it to a game.
